It's not just a Backpackers, it's a whole different world when you come to Cape St Francis Backpackers. Whether you've come to chill, enjoy any one of our water sports or even hike, you'll feel right at home with us.
In between natural fynbos and sand dunes just off Cape St Francis Beach is our retreat, namely Cape St Francis Backpackers. Consisting of a main house, Huisklip, that has anything and almost everything you may need in a "normal house" from DSTV to outside braai you'll find it. Sleeping arrangements are a 4 sleeper dorm, Private Double room and our Luxurious Private Double room with a sea view.
Then we move onto the Pool Cottage, our 10 sleeper dorm room overlooking the swimming pool. After that move down to Kleinklip the family or friends cottage that sleeps up to 7 people. Throw in two more dorm rooms that sleep 6 each and you'll have a pretty good idea of our accommodation facilities. But why would you come here? If not for Seal Point Surf Break or Bruce's Beauties or even Super Tubes down the road then surely it's to take a hike round Shark Point Nature Reserve or down the Wild Side? Then after all that you can still relax with a Canal Cruise on our 12 seater Barge Boat. Bottom line, you can relax and still have a good time...
From the N2 take the Humansdorp offramp, the Sign clearly marks St Francis and Cape St Francis Bay.
Continue through Humansdorp down the Main Road, at the T-junction turn Left towards St Francis and Cape St Francis. Continue for +/- 25km past St Francis Bay directly into Cape St Francis. At the first stop sign in Cape St Francis turn left into Da Gama Road and continue for +/-1.5km.
As you come down a steep hill you will see Stix Pub directly ahead and Cape St Francis Resort on your right. Turn into Cape St Francis Resort and check in at Reception. We will meet you there.
