All Eyes on Kimberley as the Best Street and Vert Skaters from Around the Globe Compete for Almost $500k in Cash & Prizes and World Championship Titles

The Plaza will host the Maloof Money Cup Skateboard Championships, which is taking place in Kimberley, South Africa, from 30th September – 2 October 2011. The Maloof Skate Plaza is being built by California Skateparks

MALOOF SKATEBOARDING

Maloof Skateboarding aims to raise the visibility of skateboarding across the U.S. and globally through professional and amateur contests and partnerships, to support local skate shops and to give back to the communities it touches.

MALOOF MONEY CUP (MMC)

Maloof Money Cup, the world’s greatest skateboarding event, is a premier showcase for amateur and professional skateboarding founded by Joe and Gavin Maloof, whose family owns the Sacramento Kings NBA franchise and the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The skaters were selected based on their scores from this year’s New York and Washington D.C. contests. The 16 Maloof All Pros receive air and hotel accommodations while in Kimberley for the contest.
