
The Kimberley hotel backpackers, on the corner of Roeland and Buitekant street, has been restored. This Cape Town landmark was built in 1895, and was the starting point for horse-drawn carriages leaving Cape Town for Kimberley. The backpackers boasts a coffee shop with internet access as well as the famous old bar with original woodwork.
From the hotel, guests can quench their thirst admiring Table Mountain, or take a two-minute walk to the District Six Museum. Being on the edge of the city, it is only a five minute walk to Parliament and the Cape Castle, and a further 7 minute drive to the famous Cableway. . The hotel offers 11 comfortable bedrooms.
From the airport take De Waal Drive M3 and continue straight into Roeland Street. We are on the corner of Roeland and Buitengracht.
