St. John's Waterfront Lodge was the first backpackers lodge in Cape Town, which took the form of St. John's Lodge in St. John's Rd, in the neighbouring suburb of Sea Point. We received the Mayors Award for service excellence to tourism in Cape Town, South Africa. The present lodge is situated behind the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront on the foot of Signal Hill in the suburb of Green Point. We are within walking distance from the new 2010 FIFA soccer stadium, the recently regenerated Green Point Central Improvement District (for shopping and dining) and a short walk from the city centre. We are a quick drive or shuttle to Clifton Beach or Table Mountain.
With the V&A Waterfront to your right, follow Main Road (M61) towards Green Point and Sea Point. Turn left into Wessels Road and make a first right into Braemar Road.
