Stanley Island is the only privately owned Island in South Africa and is situated in the spectacularly beautiful Keurbooms Lagoon at Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route. The African styled lodges, created with heavy gum poles, sleeper beams, indigenous reeds, stainless steel and face brick offer elegant luxuriously furnished accommodation.
This 28 hectare private island nature reserve has its own indigenous forest, a 1 000 metre grass runway, magnificent birdlife and three secluded thatched chalets with game roaming among the chalets.

Your privacy is our priority and escaping the mainland is a ferry trip away.
The island is the ideal wedding and honeymoon venue. It is also suitable for other functions where something "different" is sought.
