The hostel has everything the traveller could need - including a swimming pool and satellite TV. Stumble Inn is spread over two houses, so one way or another, there is a quiet corner to crawl into or a party to join. Two kitchens and a great BBQ area ensure ample space for self-catering and the long awaited espresso machine creates the perfect cure for any hangover.
From the N2, take the R 44 turnoff (Broadway Boulevard) towards Stellenbosch. As you drive into Stellenbosch City Centre, go straight over the set of traffic lights at Die Boord Centre. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Dorp Street and turn into Market street, the third street to your left. Stumble Inn is only a couple of meters down.
From the N1, take R 304 turn off towards Stellenbosch. As you drive into Stellenbosch, you will pass Kayamandi (the local township) on your left. Turn onto the R 44 (Adam Tas Avenue) and continue straight. Go straight past the Merriman Street turn off and the sport fields to your left. Where the road forks; keep to the left and continue straight. After this, the second turn off to your left is Dorp Street (there will be a set of traffic lights). The third street to your left will be Market Street. Stumble Inn is only a couple of meters down.
We are centrally situated in Stellenbosch, an easy 5 minute walk to town centre.
The train station is 5 minutes walk from us. Trains are the cheapest way to get to Stellenbosch from Cape Town. Departures are regular Monday through Sundays.
