Kosi Bay mouth offers a different set of activities from snorkeling in the “aquarium” with it’s incredible number of fish species to relaxing on the un-spoilt and empty beaches, or if you have the energy, swimming or surfing in the waves or playing in the lagoon. Kosi is great for kids and very safe in the shallow waters of the lagoon.
From Johannesburg: Take the N2 through Piet Retief and Pongola, turn left off the N2 towards Jozini. Go through the town and then left over the dam wall towards Ingwavuma and Kwa-Ngwanase. At the t-junction, turn right and follow the road to the town of Manguzi, go through and turn right at the Thobeka Lodge Sign, markers will bring you thr rest of the way!
From Durban: Take the N2 to Hluhluwe, go through the town, and turn left at the end, travel for 1km and then right over the railway line, through Mbazwana, straight on and right at the big roundabout to Manguzi. Turn right at the Thobeka Lodge sign, Markers will bring you the rest of the way!
