We offer many activities such as sand boarding trips, scuba diving courses and charters, horse riding, sea-kayaking, hiking trips, surfing school and trips, car hire, game parks and township tours. We also have mountain bikes available for hire to go exploring on your own. We offer a free pick up and drop off. Free continental breakfast, with tea and coffee available throughout the day. There are laundry facilities, internet access, DSTV, a DVD player and a pool table.
Our friendly staff are very experienced in the backpacker industry, with 2 being scuba dive masters, 1 an instructor and 1 is a sand board instructor. They are well informed on activities in and around Port Elizabeth and are always happy to help you with planning your travels.
On N2 from Durban or Cape Town, take the M4 off ramp "Settlersway" turn off (which goes along the coast line). Turn off on the "Russel Road" off ramp, go past 2 sets of traffic lights & at the 3rd turn right into "Westbourne Road" (Russel Road College will be on your right). Turn 1st right & 1st left into Somerset st, which becomes Glen Street. Go straight until you see a church and The WET HIPPO is right next door with another church on the other side. IF you come to a park reverse 5 mts.
