Zeederbergs makes an ideal base to begin your Waterberg adventure. If you're after escape from the hustle and bustle of life, the garden is a haven of tranquility hidden away in the bushveld. Giant trees tower over you as you while away hours by the pool. Finding peace and quiet in the shade is a welcome escape from the bushveld heat. Your only distraction is the cries of birds calling to each other, grey loerie, kingfisher, hoopoe and lilac breasted roller.
From Pretoria To get there, take the N1 north from Pretoria to the Kranskop tollgate. At the tollgate take the off-ramp to Modimolle (Nylstroom) and follow the signs for Modimolle (Nylstroom). Once you have left the highway and are on the Modimolle road, you simply follow this road through the centre of town and out the other side where you will begin to see signs for Vaalwater. The distance from Modimolle to Vaalwater is approximately 60km. Once you arrive in Vaalwater, continue straight. After the stop street the Zeederbergs Centre will be 2 kilometers further on your left hand side. Turn left into the complex and bear immediately left.
